I had such a fantastic experience at this charcoal chicken shop! The kind owners even gave me a 5-cent discount, which might sound small, but it was such a thoughtful and warm gesture that made the visit feel extra special. It’s rare to see that kind of personal touch these days, and it really stood out to me. Great service guys. The food was absolutely incredible. The free-range charcoal chicken was juicy, tender, and packed with smoky flavor that was just out of this world. And the chips? Golden, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and salted to absolute perfection—hands down some of the best I’ve ever had, would totally order again. This place really nails the aspects of a calm atmosphere, amazing food and genuine hospitality. You don’t just walk away full—you walk away smiling and already looking forward to your next visit. This place is amazing. The food here is always fresh and I have been coming here for 5+ years. The man who owns it. He is a good man he always engages conversation , loves and cares for his customers. I moved 20mins away and always come back. Also the other reason is BEST FRIED CHICKEN AND CHIPS IN THE NORTH. BETTER THEN KFC.

Two items here really stand out so far. The Roccos Beef burger i think is hands down the best burger anywhere near Reservoir or Bundoora. Also the chips (of the chicken shop type) while expensive are exceptional, crisp well seasoned, and the cooking oil always tastes like it was fresh or clean.

Yummy chips and fantastic salads. We like to get the chicken avocado, the ceaser and the Greek salads. The pasta noodle salad is good too but usually just get it in small as the sauce is quite rich.
